I think the seasons are caused not only by the earth revolving around the sun but also the moon revolving around the earth

I think the seasons have to do with the earth orbiting around the sun. When North America is closest to the sun it is summer for us, but when it is farthest from the sun it is winter from us. That's what I think but im not sure.

The seasons are determined on the way the earth moves and the way it is tilted.

I think the season are when winter and fall take place when the sun is farther away. when the suns closer then summer/spring take place

i think that the seasons have to do with the revolution of the earth around the sun but also the revolution of the earth itself. i know that since this unit is based on the moon it probly means that it has something to do with the seasons too but i just don't know how yet

I believe that the seasons are caused by the rotation of the earth and sun. In many different parts of the world there are different seasons. Because of this it makes it very difficult to understand what causes them. Rotation may casue it though because the postion of the earth in comparison to the sun may explain why are seasons are so different. In the countries closest tot he Equator there seasons are warmer then those closer to the poles because they are more aligned with the sun.

its the earth axis causing it to move closer to the sun

I think the moons orbit has something to do with the seasons. Maybe when the moons is further away from the sun that is what causes winter. Than when the earth is closer to the sun the earth becomes warm, there for summer.

Im not sure but Mr. Wilcox said something about if we didn't have the moon our seasons would be really out of wack. So i think the moon has something to do with it. I also think where the earth is compared to the sun might effect the seasons too.

The first idea that comes to mind when someone asks why we have seaons is..... the only explanation i could come up with is that the seosons are caused by the tilt of the earths axis. thats my best explanation What do u think?!

I thnk the sesaons are caused by the earth's rotation around the earth on an axis. Our hemisphere is phacing the sun during summer and facing away during winter and facing no side during the spring and summer.

I believe the different seasons are caused by the moon, the sun, and the earths atomsphere. The sun cuases seasons becuase it orbits the earth causing it to get colder and warmer. The moon I don't know how but I now it does. The earths atomshpere I believe determines whether it is raining, snowing, etc.

I think the changing seasons is caused by by the rotation of the Earth and The Earth revolving around the sun. I think this because In the winter, the sun is out for a shorter amount of time, and the summer it's out a longer amount of time.

I believe there are different seasons because we rotate on an axis. And since we rotate on an axis while moving around the sun we all get hitt with different weather changes. But the equator is the hottest part whereas the north and south pole are the coldest part. So it kind of varies. Idkk. Im just getting confused noww.

I think that the seasons are determined by how the earth revolves around the sun. The farther away from the sun that a certain part of the earth is, the colder that place is; making it either fall or winter. The closer to the sun a place is, the warmer; making it spring or summer.
