It made sense becuase the salt made the water more dense so that the egg was able to float.
Did you know, that rotten eggs float in normal tap water? It's true.

wow that is really cheesy but shows how you can make an object float by making the mass bigger. Question: By adding salt that doesn't make the volume greater to?

Yes, that it does. And Patricia, I'm going to pull a Mr. Kruse on you. Why do you think it floats on normal tap water when it's rotten?

when the guy dropped the egg in the salt water, he gently placed it in. but when he put the egg into the tap water, he pretty much just dropped it. doesn't that have anything to do with whether it floats or sinks? because if you just drop the object it, water goes over it quicker and causes it sink faster. right?

well if it is rotten then wouldn't that make the density of the rotten egg have a decreased mass because when something rottes the insides get eatten by mirco-organims

Well, I don't think it really matters. If it does float, it would eventually get to the surface.

Possibly. But the other egg went under the water and came back up

Either way I think he's has enough evidence to support his idea

In this video, I am baffled by the random picture of a man getting his hair cut. Does it have any relevancy to what it is explaining?
