yeah wouldnt it just dissappear if it got to that point of being that small. So why didnt they just wait until it disappeared so they could say that its not a planet ?? because pluto doesn't meet the standards to be a planet if they waited until it disapeared people might get mad that they weren't informed and it could cause a dilema if they waited because they would have to spend a ton of money to figure out where it went and they would have to come up with an explaination/excuse.

I don't why scientist said Pluto isn't a planet anymore. It does everything everyother planet in our solar system does. I t revolves around the sun. I don't think there is any way that Pluto con get smaller.

Maybe they took it out becuase it is too far away and they cant do research on it. But i dont get why they'd just take it out. its still there, and its not like its doing anything different than it did when is was a planet.

How is Pluto a planet but not a planet I'm confused. Some one tell me. its just like a big rock orbiting the sun. It's to big to be an astriod and to little to be a planet so they say it's a dwarf planet.

[glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=red,left,300][/shadow] pluto is no longer a planet because it didn't fit to the sientific knowleadge and standereds to have it be a planet that is why pluto is no longer a planet and it is not about its size

In sixth grade my teacher said that scientists discovered another "planet" like Pluto that was almost the same in size and then they had a meeting to discuss if Pluto should still be a planet. Their reasons for saying Pluto couldn't be a planet was that Pluto is too small to be considered a planet if the new "planet" wasn't also considered one. They said there could be more of the same things out there like Pluto.
