I agree. The equator has no effect on the seasons. It's the Earths axis the causes the seasons

I think that the seasons rely on the sun more because the the equator is in the middle so it gets a lot of sun. So the temps don't really change around there. So no, I don not believe the equator affects the seasons.

The equator is just an imaginary line so i don't think it has anything to do ith the seasons. Also they equator is always warm. They seasons are caused by the way the earth is tilted towards the sun.

No it would just affect what the equator passes through.

the equater always stays the same according to the sun. It just orbits the sun different ways to create the seasons.

No because the equator always stays the same. According to my studies and my philosophy. It just orbits the sun differently to create the seasons.

I don't think that the equator has an effect on the seasons, because the equator is warmer around that area and it always has been. The seasons change and it gets colder but the equator stays just as warm as it has been.

Yes, I believe it does becuase countires that are located around the equator wouldn't really have a winter becuase it is so hot around the equator. I believe it only affects the countries around it but nothing else.

I don't think the equator has any affect on the seasons. I think that the seasons rely more on the sun than anything.

I agree with shaley. The Earths axis position determines our season changes here in this part of the world. But the equator is also in the very center so it gets more sun than the other portions of the earth might.

I think that the equator doesn't effect our season it just makes areas closer to it warmer. It's pretty simple actually. The equator heats up the aeras close to it and in the poles they are so cold because they are away from the equator. But also they don't get enough Sun light to make the ice and snow melt.

first of all the equator is just an imaginary line that scientists made up to divide earth. I think that it does have affect on the seasons because near the equator it is said that it is warmer. Look take Mexico for example it gets a little cold in the mornings but its hot most of the time. at least thats my opinion.
