We talked yesterday about how technology itself can be biased, or lean one way over another. Sometimes that bias is toward a specific group of people over another.
Pick some example technologies and discuss how the technology might promote one goal over another, or how it might favor one group over another.
This is a discussion, so just pick a technology and throw out some ideas about how the technology isn't "in the middle".
Example: Airbags were originally designed for larger human frames (men). This reflected our society's bias, but ended up in the safety technology.

Remotes make us want to not get up to use the television. The tell us to use them to "make thing easiear."

If you are sick and you can't move. Or you are paralized in a bed and you need to change the channel. But this my opinion if I had a different life if I was handicapped.
