Ok, well, ALSO in another thread, Jocelyn brought up the question, "What would happen if we had to go without electric technology?"
Discuss the question, and share your opinion on what you think would happen.

Haha. I was going to make that board. =) I think a ton of people would go completely INSANE if electic technology was taken away. This would make us say goodbye to most of the technologies we use everyday. EX. Cell phones, computers, LIGHT, Tv, video games, Etc.. It would be like it was "back in the day" where we used candles to light our houses and we did chores on a farm. Therefore most kids dropping dead from work. Technology has made us A LOT LAZIER. I think going without technology for a couple days would be a good thing and a good lesson for some people.

first of all you guys are getting very mean! second im only going against you guys to prove there are other sides to the disscussion than just bad thoughts (all you guys show are the negatives try showing some positives too). third a good lesson for people wouldn't be to take the technology away becuase you will still need to use it afterwards so is there really much of a point? why dont you 2 try going with out electricity for 3 days before you decide what is best for everyone else.

This was a "what you think would happen question" not a "you have to try this and this is EXACTLY what would happen question. We are trying to get some ideas.

It seems many of us focus on the idea that technology makes us lazy. I disagree. We likely get way more done in a day than ever before - that is the point of technology (To accomplish something faster, easier, with less effort, etc). So just because I don't walk to work doesn't make me lazy. In the time I save, I get many other things done.
Just playing the "otherside".

If you are someone who does spen their time wisely then you aren't lazy. IF you spend your time on a couch then you would be considered lazy.
