Discuss why it is important to realize that technology is limited and cannot solve all of our problems. Why do people think technology will solve all of our problems? What are people missing out on by putting their "faith" in technology?
DIscuss.

There are people that think technology can answer everything but for what we have we have no technology that can get us into the center of the Earth so how is technology the answer for everything. As we put our faith into technology we as humans are not thinking what could happened if something were wrong only thing we think about is the good.

The human race is coming to a bad point in histroy where we will be dependent on technology all the time. There are many negative effects that will hurt us physical and mentally. I think that if we reach a point where we depend on tech. to solve everything we will be a lost race because we will lost relgion, cultural bounderies, views as to what is ethical, and many more.

I kinda agree with you two. I mean, yeah, they are becoming overly dependent on technology, but I don't necessarily think because they think it will solve everything. I think it is because people think it will EVENTUALLY solve everything, thus, people not doing anything. In my point, people are just using it, waiting for some remarkable discovery to happen, but they don't realize what is happening while they are waiting for that to happen. Like Frosty said, we are losing MANY important things that make us a race. AND what make us individuals.

I disagree some people cant afford the technology so they cant understand how to use it. They ask for help but people wont help so they wont learn or care.

I think that it's important for people to realize that technology can't solve all our problems, because. Technology can't help us make everyday decisions. Like "Oh my gosh should I go to the bathroom right now or no?" Okay bad example. But you get my point. Also, technology can't help you with relationship problems. Like in friends, family, dates, etc. If your fighting with a friend, technology isn't going to help and tell you what you should do. Same with family, I doubt a piece of technology is going to help you get along better with your parents. Especially if the reason why you are fighting with your parents is because of too much technology useage.(video games, cellphone, television, etc.)

I think that curtis's, jermery's, and my idea all together make the "right" answer in my opinion. each talks about how tech. is taking away many things that the human race as estbished in the 1700's and 1800's also it changes many people individually. finally even though tech helps us there are many dangers that are overseen by people this mistake may hurt us as we advance futher into the future.

Technology is starting to take away our freedon is what it seems like. We can now work almost all they time. WE don't spend as much time with our families. If we become so dependent on this technology, we won't know how to do things with out it. It's making us over dependent on it.
