It could be multiple things. The sun heats the earth, greenhouse gasses warm the earth up a bit more, and if you count the tide, the moon affects weather as well. Also, the tilt of the earth causes seasons. And I suppose you could count gravity since it keeps water here and can cause earthquakes.
