To find out if a ship floats or sinks. I don't know. Any new ideas.

density can determine alot of stuff exspecially if anyone plans on going into science fields or medicines or ingineering

There are a lot of reasons density matters outside of science classrooms. Density is everywhere. That's why it matters more than just in science class.

You may not know it but density is a big thing when it comes to floating and building ships.

yeh. i mean i understand that we need to learn it but i cant figure out why. Is it because of something we might do or not cause i cant think of anything i might need it for i am not building a ship.

Yes i think density is important out of the class room. Because density is everywhere and if you in the future get a job like on a boat doing something you want to know its density.

You may not know it but density is a big thing when it comes to floating and building ships. I know it is but how will you know when you finished building a ship if it will be able to float or sink?

what is the point of using density besides in the classroom?? think of some pratical ideas First of all, it could help us build better boats and ships.

Couldn't density be apart of why planes fly??

well people have to use density to figure out how to build a car, a boat, a ship, and anything else that has to float on water or has drive somewhere on land

Couldn't density be apart of why planes fly?? yes and no it helps determine the capacity and how well it will fly but it doesn't have to do with floating, i think
