I think we have four seasons because of the moon and how it orbits us also because of the sun and its position.[/quote it could also be how close sun is to the earth and what time of day no it cant becouse it is the oppisit season in russa and africa

I think it depends on both the moon and the sun. i have to agree with you because the moon n sun both help earth in different ways the sun warms the earth but the moon prevents earth from getting too warm

at first i thought it would be because of how far the sun is from the earth but now i know that the seasons are different in the southern and northern hemiphere so it is because of the way the earth tilts on its axis that matters.

I think the reason why the earth has four seasons is becasuse when the earth spins it also tilts causeing the sun's rays to hit in differnt areas of the earth. That's also why the southern hemisphere has the opposite seasons as us. And the countries around the equator are always warm because they are always facing the sun basically directly. And areas on the far southern side or on the far northern side are always colder than everywhere else during that season...

i think it's just because we have 12 months and 4 sections where the weather changes we have a different season

I think we have four seasons because we are closer to the sun at different times of the year. The seasons aren't really distinct because the earth is always moving but we notice a big difference in temepatures from winter to summer.

I think the earth has four seasons because the earth is on an axis and it can't flip itself it can only spin and orbit around the sun. And by orbiting around the sun we get the four seasons.
