Pros/cons of going to school online

Discuss what you think would be the good things (pros) and the bad things (cons) of having school be online. What would we gain from having school online, what would we lose?

Some goods thing could be that you dont have to get up early you get to get up when you want to. All i see really is mainly the bad ones (cons). Some people if they never have to go to school will never have any actually conversation with another human being. Some people may never even do the work and whos going to be making them no one cause theres no one there and they could lie to their parents.

hmmm... i think that the pros would be that it would be more convenient for others. Because then there won't be as many distractions like at school. because you won't be with everyone in person. and then like curtis said,, there's still the convenience of not having to get up so early and waste time getting ready doing your hair,, makeup,, clothes,, and so on. And another pro would be that if someone has a phone with internet,, they can also go to school online no matter where they go. so then teachers wont have to worry about kids going to mexico for vacations or something.

as for the cons,, there's a bucketfulls(:
okay to start,, alot of kids will just get so flat out bored,, that they might decide to just go outside and play or something instead of getting online for school. and since it's online,, people might not be paying attention. they might just be playing online games or be in chatrooms. so waaaaaaaaaay more distractions(:
not good,, not good.

Ok, just to make things clear, just because you think that there are more coms than pros doesn't mean that it is a bad thing. It means that you think lowly of it.

Pros would have to do with being environmental friendly and all of that junk, and the cons would have to do with distraction. That's all people think about in this situation.

I agree with the distractions athings because you would probably be more focused by yourself.
But then you miss the part with talking to people face to face.

Good things about going to school online would be more free time and more family time. But is that really the good thing in the end? Without school I probably would not know most of the friends that I have. I probaly would not get the same grades either because i would not have the teachers to help answer my questions.

Cons you will not get to hear the discussions that are going on in the classroom. You not be able to ask the teacher a question when you need the help from the teacher the most. Like derek siad you dont talk to the teacher face to face. everyone needs to talk to the teacher every ounce in a while. The teacher is here to help you when you need the help.

the problems we can have is like what happens if everything in the laptop gets earse and all of my files get messed up with all the stuff you have in there. and the good well i just it would be easier than before. ;D

Pros:
-that it propably would be faster
-you get to work in your own speed
-work during when you want to

Cons:
-you wouldnt be ready for you to work with other people
-you wouldnt be able to work with other people as well

first of all you would still need to get ur work done and handed in so i dont see y its easier and faster

For a con it would suck because if what if you have a bunch of questions? Who would you ask them to... the computer?

A con would be that you would'nt be able to talk to anyone face-to-face.
A pro would be that you would be able to eat at anytime you want.

I a pro would be that the questions you had you could just go on google and go to the web and find the answer to the question

The cons of going to an online school is that you wouldn't have any hands on experiences so you wouldn't pick up on information that you normally would if you went to a school located in your area on anywhere near it. You would also probably forget about it one day and admit it, it is kinnda hard to forget to go to a public school although we don't like to go.

I think school online is ok!!!!!!!!!!!
