Here I want you to discuss how technology has affected us as humans. You might discuss how technology affects us as individual people - how we think, act, behave, etc. Or you could discuss how technology impacts our culture (religion, education, economy, etc).
Go out and find some resources to support your points or post links to sites you found interesting about how technology affects us. Do more than just post your random ideas, of course your ideas are welcome as well.

One way technology effects us as humans is by having a type of tech. with us all the time like our cell phone. people are able to contact us pretty much 24/7. Which means for some people that they are working all the time, by text, email, and phone calls.

Technology is now making the world a lot more lazier and soon we as humans are going to be relieing on technology for everything. We think technology is the answer to everything but no its the answer for something like if you need to write something down you can use a pencil (tech) to write it but if your in your bedroom buring the day and have the light on theres no point to waste technology

i agree with scott because humans are pretty much surrounded by tech. no matter what they are doing they are using tech in their everyday lives in order to finish tasks or just relax.

i agree with curtis when he says that people are gonna end up relying on tech but i disagree when you say EVERYBODY will rely on it because having an amount of people with our numbers all rely on technology completely would be something that would totally shock me.

I agree that not everybody will rely on it. You have people like the omish for example, who haven't became completely wrapped around technology. The don't use all the things that we are so used to like cell phones and video games. They also actually do work BY HAND. Which now we have things like factories who do the work for us in a way.

Oh, I second that it would be hard to believe EVERYBODY would be caught up in it. And Jocelyn brought up a good point about Amish people. They have been without ELECTRICAL technology for awhile, and I am pretty sure it could most definetly stay that way.

Ah.. I mostly think that technology affects people by making some way more lazier and some just way to busy. Like for people who don't work in jobs that require emailing and all that, they might spend their time with video games, television, texting, etc. And so that just makes them lazy, never really doing much. They spend all their time entertaining themselves with that, that they don't do stuff like chores, homework, etc. Then there are the people who work in business or something like that, and are on their computers, laptops, and cellphones constantly. Whether it's to check emails or work on something. So then they can be contacted 24/7. And because they get so busy with their work everywhere they go, they don't have much time to spend with their families or friends or just to relax.

But if technology keeps advancing and the longer we wait there will be less amish(dont know if its spelled right) people around. I'm sure by the 22nd century there will be few to no amish people. there propably won't be many left by the time the 21st century is half way over.

Technology can impact us differently. Like have you ever heard about those people that camp outside a store for a night so they can get their hands on a new piece of tech, before anyone else? Technology is makin us go crazy for it.
