How do people drown if they are also able to float? Well its simple really they start out with oxygen in their bodies and then they eventually fill up with water and so that causes them to drown like if you go under water you could blow bubbles and you will sink to the bottom

I think the reason that people drown even if they can still float is that the currents are too strong pulling the person under and when it keeps pullin gthem under that person keeps losing oxygen causing them to drown, well thats just for like an ocean or a river. I'm not sure about like a pool though unless the person like hit their head.

I think you can drowned because you are more compact. Like when you float you lay on your back so your mass is more spread out over the surface of the water and when you sink your body mass is packed closer together so you don't stay on the serface.

How do people drown if they are also able to float? Maybe it might have to do the technique you use to float. Like if u stay calm and swim you can float, but if your panicking and don't know how to float then you have a higher chance or drowning I don't know about that thoery Trevor if you didn't know hoe to swim and youi wre out in the middle of the ocean you would drown becuase there would be nobody there to rescue you Now if you wre in a lake some one would rescue you. Either way you wouyld drown right?

When I pour chocolate syrup into milk, the chocolate syrup all goes to the bottom. This is because the chocolate syrup is more dense than the milk - meaning the chocolate syrup is thicker or more compact than the milk.
But when you stir the milk and syrup then mix and so then it wouldnt be as compact would they?

if a bowl is empty will it float? what if it has something in it? what is the difference? is it the density? what is density again? The bowl floats becuse of the material it is made out of. Now if I were to put something in it the chances are high that it will sink right away.
